Mrs. Tina Kyker-Harris received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Peru State College, her teaching certificate from the University of Nebraska, and certification in Classroom and Behavior Management, as well as a Masters Degree in Education from Peru State College. Mrs. Harris has been teaching special education for the last 12 years as well as having worked as a para, working with students from grades kindergarten through 12th grade. At DPS, her emphasis will be with the older students.
Mrs. Harris has three children: Andrew, Sarah, and John. She also has 4 grandchildren and has been married to her husband Bill for three years. They live on the family farm that Harris' deceased husband left her in 2017. When they aren't raising cattle, she enjoys spending time with her family and husband.
Mrs. Harris is excited to be given the chance to inspire young adults into being all that they can be at DPS. Welcome, Mrs. Harris!
