Kindergarten through high school parents/guardians will once again be asked to sign all forms electronically through PowerSchool. If you signed prior to 7/24/24, you will need to re-sign the forms, unfortunately, as they had not been updated for this year.

Please complete these by 8/1/24 (must be done for each student).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  1. Log in from a web browser (not the PowerSchool App!) at https://deshler.nebps.org/public/home.html or go to the school website at www.deshlerdragons.org & click on PowerSchool in the top menu button.Powerschool

  2. Username is typically your email address. If you don't remember your password, click on "FORGOT USERNAME/PASSWORD" -- Still can't get in? Email Marla Finke at marla.finke@deshlerdragons.org or Lexi Fayle at lexi.fayle@deshlerdragons.org for help!


  3. Once logged in, your students will show up in the top left. You will want to complete forms for EACH of your K-12 students!

  4. After selecting your student click on FORMS on the left side.

  5. You will need to hit SUBMIT on each individual form. There are a total of 10 forms that everyone must fill out, and then 3 optional forms: one for elementary (Title 1) and two for MS/HS (course verification and permission to meet with mentors). It is normal for the forms to say PENDING after you hit the submit button.

  • Culture Survey

  • Title 1 Permission Form (Elementary Only)

  • Information on FREE/REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATION (permission form to share this with colleges for scholarships, tuition waivers for HS kids & more)

  • Course Request Verificiation (grades 6-12 only)

  • Device User Agreement - PLEASE NOTE: We only had a one-year warranty on our laptops, so parents are encouraged to purchase the family insurance (K-12) as failure to do so will result in a minimum $75-$100 fee each time a device is sent in!

Please complete these & have your physicals turned in by 8/1/24.

REMINDER: All incoming kindergarten and 7th grade students as well as out of state students AND all students planning to take part in an NSAA activity in grades 7-12 must have a physical AND the NSAA Consent Form. For more information, see the article HERE.

Free/reduced lunch applications should be turned in prior to the school year beginning. Failure to do so may result in your child paying full price for lunches when they could qualify for free/reduced lunches! Last year's status will carry over until September 24th, unless turned in prior to this date. That application is HERE.

  • AUG 7TH: New Student Registration, 9 AM - 3 PM

  • AUG 14TH: Open House, 5-7 PM

    • 5 PM: Free Meal for Families/Community

    • 7 PM: Speaker for all 6th-12th grade PARENTS

    • Bring your school supplies on this night!

  • AUG 23RD: Fall Sports' Pep Rally, Scrimmages, Meal & Kona Ice

    • 5 PM: Pep Rally in the Gym

    • 5:30 PM: VB Scrimmage (Admission: Gatorade)

    • 6:30 PM: FREE Hot Dog Meal (furnished by Brodstone Healthcare)

    • 7:30 PM: FB Scrimmage (Admission: Gatorade)

    • 6:30 - 8:30 PM: Kona Ice at the FB Field
