Deshler Public Schools is looking for staff in the following positions:
Bus/route drivers &/or activity drivers
An assistant FFA sponsor
Paraeducator(s)
Or earn your local substitute teaching certificate!
Do I need to have a teaching certificate to become a teacher? NO!
Am I limited to 45 days of being a local sub? NO!
The requirements for a Local Substitute Permit includes the following:
An application and fee in the TEACH system (Please note that registration for TEACH is required before an application can be submitted.)
Fingerprints (Only required if someone has lived outside of Nebraska in the past five years.)
Transcript(s) showing at least 60 semester credit hours (these hours do NOT have to be in the teaching field!)
Human Relations Training - often online for only 2 weeks & will pay for itself in ONE DAY OF SUBSTITUTE TEACHING!
