The Deshler juniors and some seniors attended a College Fair in Beatrice on Thursday, September 8. Students were able to talk with the representatives of over 40 different post secondary institutions or military representatives. Representatives shared the basic information about their campus and their program offerings. Students could give their contact information when further information was desired. Mrs. Unruh sponsored the group and Arlis Hohl provided the transportation.

This week we did a cooking activity in Preschool. We made apple cinnamon rolls! We were able to further develop our fine motor skills by pressing the cinnamon roll into the muffin tin and then we used a spoon to scoop up apple pie filling to put on top of the cinnamon roll. We baked it for 18 minutes at 375 degrees. It was a thumbs up snack according to the kids!

Deshler goes home with the win, 3-1, taking the last set 25-17.

Deshler takes the third set from Lawrence/Nelson, 25-20. We are headed into the fourth set with Deshler up 2-1.

Deshler falls to Lawrence/Nelson in the second set, 22-25.

Dragons take the first set 25-13 in Nelson against the Lawrence/Nelson Raiders.

We hope that you can make it to our K-12 Patriot Day program tomorrow morning at 9 AM at Deshler Public Schools. Please note that if you can’t make it, it will be live streamed on our Striv channel.
