We've had a busy week at Preschool! From firefighter visits to science experiments! It was a great week! There is so much joy and excitement in these kids!
Thank you to the Deshler Volunteer Fire Department for visiting the Preschool and letting us ride on the fire truck! It was one of the highlights of our week!

Deal on THU during the VB games — youth night celebrated 3:30-4:30 pm and before 1st game (5 pm game) and senior night before last game (approx. 7 pm game).
The FB game in Lawrence that was on Thu is now on FRI, OCT 14th.
Nearly 50 members strong, this year’s FCA members have been busy with concession stands, clothing sales, staff thank yous, and more. Next up is our Trunk or Treat event on Oct 31st.

Last night, DPS celebrated several things…Thunder FB being undefeated & winning their league; $600 raised for the Foundation for TCHS for cancer awareness by the school & area businesses; & our seniors who played their last home FB game: Blake Schardt & Gavin Nash. 💜💛💜

It’s another “homegrown beef in the school” day at DPS! FFA alumni & beef boosters received 3 beef donations & money to continue to support this program. FFA members will be giving a beef lesson the first Thursday of every month. Thank you to Schmidts for this quarter’s beef!
Mallory Kleen and Gracie Miller received $8,000 Husker Tradition Scholarships, the Lunzmann family awarded scholarships to Gavin Nash & Bryn Kniep (given by Brooklyn Blau), & Chris Roth of Reinkes gave Cameron Harding a $250 scholarship. We are proud of our students’ hard work!

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES HAVE BEEN MOVED...These will now be held on WED, OCT 26TH, from 3 - 7 PM. There will be a 2 pm out on this day INSTEAD OF on Thu., Oct. 27th. Thu., Oct. 27th will still be a regular school day. Fri., Oct. 28th, there will continue to be NO SCHOOL.
