- MON: JVFB game canceled, XC @ 12 PM
- TUE: 2 PM DISMISSAL; PT CONF, 3-7 PM
- THU: Flu Shot Clinic, MUST HAVE PERMISSION FORM
- FRI: 5th Gr Field Trip
- SUN: 6th-12th to decorate hallways that will be judged by the public before the pep rally & free meal!

K-5 Students: You are encouraged to take part in our savings program, which is a cooperative between Midwest Bank & our FBLA chapter. Permission forms will be available at PT conferences or by emailing Joanna Eitzmann @ Joanna.Eitzmann@midwest.bank or Lexi Fayle @ lexi.fayle@deshlerdragons.org.

Money is placed in a savings account until a child leaves the district or the elementary setting. You can also turn it into a REAL savings account at this time with Midwest Bank!

Help us teach your child(ren) the importance of saving! And there are LOTS of incentives to save thanks to Midwest Bank...check them out!

In first grade, students have been learning all about the states of matter, light waves, and sound waves! To end our unit, students participated in science stations. From exploring solids, liquids, and gases to discovering how light creates shadows and more, our young scientists are learning through hands-on activities and exploration!

This week the kindergarten class is learning all about PUMPKINS! Today, we talked about, looked at, and felt each part of a pumpkin. We have also learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin and discussed what a pumpkin needs to survive! Later this week, each student will get their own pumpkin to complete investigation stations!

Every elementary class enjoyed reading the book, How Full is Your Bucket, and received a book for their classroom thanks to TeamMates! The students are practicing filling up and not dipping from each others buckets. Pictured is the Kindergarten class.

Come out and support the Deshler volleyball team against Thayer Central tomorrow! The Deshler TeamMates Mentoring chapter is selling a pizza and brownie sundae meal deal. Any TeamMates mentors and mentees from either Deshler or TC who attend the game will receive a free popcorn if they wear their TeamMates shirt!
