The DPS 4th graders had a little fun with a science/math experiment designed to determine how fast their brains react to something that they hear or see. They determined that their reactions can depend on a lot of things-environment, sounds, being overtired, ect.
These are our Character Kids for the month of January and for the word Perseverance! Congratulations to Serenity, Elle, Kaleb, Teddy, Riley, and Peighton on persevering and never giving up even when things were hard or challenging! February's word is honesty!

Bowling Team - Parents Night on Friday in Superior between girls' and boys' varsity games!
Congratulations to senior, Jacilyne Peterson! For the third year in a row, she has received a gold rating at District FFA Proficiency Review. Her application will move on for state competition later this month. Jacilyne's proficiency area is Small Animal Entrepreneurship. She breeds rabbits and uses her rabbits in competition and to sell. She keeps meticulous records and documentation on her Supervised Agricultural Experience. Good luck to Jacilyne at the state level!
There will be no pep band at tonight's basketball games. The show choir will still sing the national anthem prior to the 4 PM varsity game.
