
DPS and the city are “teaming up to clean up” Deshler today! Our 7th-12th students will be going around town picking up things for Goodwill or the dump that have been called in by the community as well as cleaning up lawns. Let’s work together to beautify Deshler!



Top 3 in the TC Track Mt on Thu: 1st: Lacey in the 3200m run; and 3rd: Makinna, Brooke, Stormi, and Taylor in the throwers’ 4x1 relay.
Total of 6 track and field athletes and 4 relay teams placing in the top 6. The team set 7 season records and had 11 PRs. Great Job Dragons!

Congratulations to DPS wrestlers Holden McDonald and Cole Ruhge for their recognition at the Superior Winter Sports Banquet. Holden received Newcomer of the Year and Cole received the Wildcat Team Player Award. Way to go, DPS wrestlers!

Great news for our healthcare students…SCC has added a dual credit LPN program. Taking advantage of this as early as your junior year, along with the CNA class we have added already this fall, means only one year at SCC after HS graduation, and you will have your LPN license!


Congratulations to Gavin Nash who was selected for the 2nd team All-Tribland in BB, as well as Cameron Harding, Brent Buescher, Jacilyne Peterson, and Allie Vieselmeyer — all who received Honorable Mention recognition! Way to go, Dragons!

The 2nd graders are reading all about electricity this week. Today they did different experiments with balloons to create static electricity!





The 3rd qtr honor roll pix will be taken on FRI after HS lunch & before we take off for our community clean up. Students will be holding up the # of activities they were involved in through 3rd qtr to show just how dedicated they are to their grades AND activities!




Wed/Thu/Fri of THIS WK at 7:30 AM: Meet in the gym to learn cheers for tryouts next week! We are hoping to have tryouts on Wed, 4/6 at 7:30 AM, but we are awaiting responses from the judge(s). Thank you to Mrs. O'Neal for taking this on - along with Laura Tuma. GO DRAGONS!

Congrats to the 2022 DPS Prom Queen Brenna Dubbert, King Zach Ludington, Prince Gavin Nash and Princess Bryn Kniep! John Baylor was the Prom speaker and the junior/senior parents hosted a fun, carnival-themed Post Prom…now it is time to rest up for the week!





Kindergarten students ended their space unit by making marshmallow constellations and edible rockets!
