
Today’s dress up day was pajama day for the 12 Days of Christmas. Those that are best dressed will win awards on the last day of school… The same day as the first annual Ramen noodle cook off for seniors!


The JH wrestling meet for today has been moved up to a 4:30 PM start - the team will leave @ 2:45 PM. PARENTS: Please take note if you have a student wrestling about the change in start time for the meet in Fairbury!


CHANGE! NO GIRLS JV ON SAT, 12/11: We will start early at 2 PM with boys' JV & play 3 8-minute qtrs. Girls varsity would start at 3 PM (roughly) so parents announced at 2:45 PM; boys varsity would start at 4:30 PM (roughly) so parents announced at 4:15 PM. Arrive early!


Post Prom Raffle: Tickets can be purchased at Midwest Bank or from a jr/sr parent & will be sold at the Dec 11th games & through the first half of the BBB game on Dec 17th. Baskets drawn at BBB halftime on 12/17. Pop shots held at halftime of varsity games on 12/11 & 12/17.

We had our first BLACK OUT BINGO CARD today for staff! Ms. Kendall selected “Fancy Coffee Friday” as her prize for earning the first staff blackout! Mrs. Kane, on the other hand, is still working on her bingo card! Good luck to the students and staff still working on their bingo!

K-12 students/staff will be running a RELOCATION DRILL on Wed before the early out (2 PM out). Students can be picked up at dismissal time - but the building will be locked down from 1:30-2 PM (no entry to the building). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Sixth grade had fun at Makerspace making glasses!





Holden McDonald finished third in the 106 lb division and Cole Ruhge fought hard in the 113 lb division. The Deshler/Superior team finished third overall. Good start to the HS wrestling season this weekend. The next meet is Friday at Wood River. JH ends their season on Mon.

Congrats to the GBB team on a close win last night & the boys played Exeter Milligan very close as well. HS wrestling begins their season at Meridian tonight. JH/HS concert on Sunday at 7 pm.


Today is the LAST DAY of JH wrestling practice (no practice on Fri as planned). Their last meet is on Monday in Fairbury at 5 PM. If you haven't had a chance to see them wrestle, try to make the meet. They have done an outstanding job this season! Good luck, Dragon wrestlers!

FCA attended the Todd Becker Foundation tour last night in Belleville, KS, and listened to an outstanding message from Keith Becker and some great music. Thank you to all who attended!
