Accuplacer Testing will take place on October 3rd. All students in grades 9-12 should consider taking the Accuplacer if they are considering taking college classes in the near future.
All sophomores will be attending the career fair at the Stastny Center on Tuesday October 1st. There is a dress code, so make sure your student is dressed appropriately.
Six girls from FBLA got to attend the Fall Leadership Conference at Midland on Wednesday. They spent the whole day learning about going after what they want most in life and not letting anyone get in their way.
DPS will have their Flu Shot Clinic on October 3rd for all staff and students. Flu shot paperwork can be found attached here, and also at the front office. Please make sure to fill your paperwork and return it prior to October 3rd.
Area producers, DO NOT FORGET about the annual Harvest Farmer Appreciation Meal on October 4th, put on by the Deshler FFA.
During our small groups we have been working on identifying numbers and letters. We have also started to work on correct letter formation when writing our letters. In our Handwriting Without Tears curriculum we sing a song called, "Where Do You Start Your Letters". This song helps us to remember that we start our letters at the top when we write.
