Preschool took a field trip to the Senior Center last week! Students had the opportunity to interact and do a couple art activities with two special ladies. Thank you for having us! We look forward to our next visit!
The junior class will participate in County Government Day at the Thayer County Courthouse on Thursday, November 16th, to learn more about how our county government works!
Today Dr. Alber of UNK was here in Deshler. He worked with our 5th-8th grade band students on their Christmas music. Thank you Dr. Alber!
Chemistry students got lots of practice in on Monday as they prepared for their quiz on Wednesday and test on Friday.
You never have to wonder if Ms. Deepe is passionate about what she teaches!
Kudos to someone that can stay as organized as she does and adjust for students from kindergarten to the most advanced of art students.

Suturing bananas was today's activity in Ms. McKenzie's Health Concepts class.
Next up: a visit to the cadaver lab and learning to give shots with oranges.

It is World Kindness Day! The theme is "Be Kind Wherever Possible".

FCA students (and all students!) are challenged to do something kind for someone today. Students will be asked to think about what they can/will do for someone today and fill out a card at lunch.

Sharing has been made easier thanks to the accessibility of sharing tools on the web, along with help from social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Sharing knowledge helps us learn, discover, and understand things that are interesting. They have immediate application for better results in our work and life, edifies our soul, and improves our daily conversations.
Stay humble. Humility and maturity are synonymous. A dignified person accomplishes much, but brags little. They are secure in their standing without needing to make noise, often treating everyone with tremendous respect, regardless of position.
Be positive! Positive thinking goes beyond having the drive and motivation for personal success. Positive thinking is explicit, definite, and outspoken. It’s contagious. Build up your loved ones with your positiveness, allowing them to be open for better things to come.
Love. Building up a person with the 9 ways mentioned is only made effective when done so together with love. Care for your loved ones how you would want to be cared for. Build up one another how you would like to be inspired. As a result, you will move up to a whole new level of breakthroughs in life.
Going one step further, visualize how and to whom you can build up and inspire changes for the better. Then work towards making that a reality.
Continue encouraging and building one another up. And start seeing growth and advancements in your relationship with people and to the ones who truly matter to you today.
Go out & do kind things - and appreciate when someone does the same thing for you!
The JH wrestling meet will begin at 4:30 PM today in Fairbury, not 10 AM as previously noted on our calendar.
Last week, Johnny Hinz finished first and Rigley McDonald finished second, in the opening meet of the season at SC. These boys and their teammates from Superior will be wrestling again on Thursday in Superior at 4 PM.
Get out and support them if you can!
