Any incoming 4th-6th grade boys interested in playing Thunder football are encouraged to attend equipment checkout at the Thayer County Activities Center, tomorrow July 30th. FREE DUAL CREDIT! Incoming sophomore Makenna Freitag didn't meet the age requirements to take SCC classes as a freshman, so she did her research & found Metropolitan Community College offered FREE tuition if you met their requirements - which she did! We are sharing this information out in case there is another HAL student that would like to take advantage of this!

Summer band for High School will start next week each day at 6:00 pm to practice for the Thayer County parade on August 6th. Monday July 28th, will be percussion only. Starting Tuesday July 29th will be full band.

When they say teacher created state test, this is what they mean. NWEA, HMH, and teachers from all over the state come together for a week to write test questions for Math, Language Arts, and Science. Mrs Wachtel participated this year as she has done for more than 20 years.
