BANQUET AT 7 PM: Catered meal for letter winners AND their parents in the multi-purpose room.
ATHLETIC AWARDS AT 7:45 PM: These awards will begin at 7:45 PM & will be in the HS gym - this portion is open to the public!
The girls were TVC runners-up today -- congrats to the Lady Dragons!
The boys' team was very close to the same -- missing runner-up by a single point and first place by only 8 points.
We are proud of you, Dragons!
The electric car team is bringing home hardware again today!
Standard Class: 2nd (Sam Hoops and Colton Isernhagen) and 3rd place (Blake Schardt and Kaden Lanham) at Hastings with Adley Hiatt on pit crew.
Congrats to the team on another job well done!
Next up: State at Wayne, NE on Saturday, May 6th!
Troy Kane lead the Deshler band and choir students in relay games today, where partners had to listen for instruments or singing to find their way through an obstacle course in the gym.
Thank you for all of the fun activities you come up with for the students, Mr. Kane!
The second graders started their last science unit. They are learning all about plants! This week the students are observing seeds germinate and learning about chlorophyll!

Senior Spotlight: Taylor Sieber
Lots of talent shared over the last few days! It is hard to believe the hours of stage prep and practice, changing of outfits, and layers of makeup are over already. Thank you to our students and parents, but especially to Paige Hansen and Jaden Siegle, for making Annie happen!
Congratulations to DPS eighth graders Landyn Tuma and Braxton Peterson for their finishes at Conference Trap this weekend. Landyn shot a 36 out of 50 and received 2nd place in Class D1 while Braxton shot a 44 out of 50 for 2nd place in Class B3. They shoot for Fairbury Trap.

After a seven year hiatus, the Deshler Electric Car program came back in a BIG way! Today, we competed for the first time in Pacific Junction, Iowa, and we are bringing home THREE trophies:
Standard Class 2nd place,
Standard Class 3rd place, and
Best Pit Crew!
